New scarf!
Justin has been away for the past few days and I needed something to keep my occupied while he was gone. The girls have been asking for a scarf for the past couple days. We went to Target and I did not see anything for kids. The adult ones were too expensive. Then I remembered that I could crochet. I am not very good but maybe since I learned how to do it the right way it won't be so bad. I found a show to watch on netflix and off I went. I made the first scarf in a a day and a half! It was Amanda's. It didn't turn out too bad either!
Then I started on Ava's. I decided to do her's a little differently. It wasn't too bad either. I dropped a whole bunch of stitches so it is noticeably larger on one end but that's ok it's still cute. What's important is that she liked it. Now they won't have to borrow my scarfs anymore!

I'm so impressed! I want to learn how to crochet. Maybe I can talk my mom into teaching me when she comes for her annual visit.
Nicely done! :o) Ava looks happy, but I'm not so sure about Amanda... did she like Ava's better or something?
Way to go Christine!!! Nothing like homespun warmth!
