Haiti

I haven't written much on here in the last few days. It feels weird to talk about the awesome things I have or whine about the stupid things. I have "rich people" problems. I have friends who live down in Haiti and the earthquake that hit there has put a few things in perspective. They are struggling to survive there and I am annoyed that I have to make another peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It makes me feel so small and petty. BUT I get to be a part of something big...

My church, Crosspointe, is amazing and I am truly honored to be a part of it. Let me explain. We have some very good friends down there serving as missionaries. Out church has partnered with them to make a big difference in the town of Jacmel, Haiti. We have mission groups going down there all the time. Now, at their biggest time of need, my church is rallying around these missionaries (Nick and Gwenn Mangine).

Today the organization Joy in Hope ,who our church closely partners with, was able to fly in thousands of dollars of medical supplies and fly out the Mangine's kids. You would not believe the work that goes into getting a plane in there, and my church did it! They did it!

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome these people are. If you are looking for a way to help the people of Haiti please look no further than Joy in Hope. I know the people personally who run this organization and they are as legit as it gets. I am proud to call them my friends. And I am very proud to call Crosspointe my home.

These are my friends Pam, Josiah, Gwenn, Nick, Nico and Nia. This photo was taken right before Pam was able to take Nick and Gwenn's children back to the states. This is who is living and loving in Haiti right now. Pray for them, please.

That is awesome-I'm so glad your church is able to help out. I'll be keeping your friends in my prayers, as well as the rest of Haiti.

Good for you all and may the Lord richly bless those helping in this effort. May they all stay safe while ministering to everyone down there.
