Gorilla Party

I was asking the girls what they wanted to do this afternoon and Ava said she wanted to have a party. I asked what kind of party and she settle on a gorilla party. So the girls set off and made gorilla decorations

This is a baby gorilla.
This is a gorilla family drawn by Ava. The 2010 sign was leftover from our New Years party.
I asked if they wanted to play pin the flower on the gorilla. They were thrilled about that. This is my version of a gorilla. I know, it's pretty great isn't it? :) And no the gorilla is not holding her stomach because she is sick, she is waiting for some one to put flowers in her hand.
After our gorilla hair dinner (spaghetti) we paying the game. Ava went first. Not bad! She was just off to the left a little.
It was Uncle Steve's turn next.

Way to go bro, it's upside down. In his defense though, I think I handed him the flower upside down.
Amanda did not want a turn so we left Brie have a turn with out the blind fold.
Ava took pity on Brie's inability to reach the gorillas hand so she put Brie's flower right in the gorillas hand and let Brie win. What a nice sister!
I asked Ava if she liked her party and she said, "Yes, but it was a little small. next time we need to invite more people." What a party animal.
