Amanda's in charge

And I think she likes it. Today we watched a friends son. We are trading mornings once a week so we can each have a break. It was my day today. Amanda LOVED being the old lady of the house. She was showing Hayden the ropes. She was being bossy like Ava always is. But not too bossy to the point where it was bad. Hayden happily followed along. We were headed outside and I told the kids they need to get their shoes on. Amanda got hers on then immediately went to Hayden to show him how to do it. She was being so helpful and nice. It was really cute.

She got both shoes on, and in true Amanda fashion, the shoes were on the wrong feet. I fixed the shoes and thanked her profusely for her help. She was proud of her self.

While they were outside I was watching them play (from inside because it was cold) and Amanda was playing the same games Ava plays with her only Amanda was in Ava's role. It's fun to watch Amanda taking charge and being a big girl.

On another note, it was really weird to have a boy in the house...
