Ice Skating!
We took Ava and Amanda Ice skating for the first time while in Indiana. Ava has been asking to go ice skating for her birthday for a while now.They actually did really really well. They did way better when they weren't holding on to us. Trying to so them that was really tough.
Ava doing it all by herself! She fussed when I let go but she was fine after a little while.
Amanda did really well too. 
I really hope one of these girls takes up skating. I had forgotten how much I loved it untilI was out just skating around having fun. I am totally going to go more often. I need to. I am pretty sure its essential to my existence.
Maybe I should build an ice rink in the backyard like I have always wanted...

Know what you mean about building a venue for the sport you enjoy in your backyard - I've always wanted a pool!!
Holy Tolito!!! I can't believe you hadn't taken them before now!!! Well... I guess it wouldn't be a good idea to take them when you were pregnant. You have been pregnant pretty much constantly since you had Ava. :o)
